Entry #6 The main six

I believe that The people you hang around have an influence on what you do. Some friends can help you grow as a person and some will do the opposite. I believe everybody should have these kinds of people in their life. I believe these types of people can change your life for the better.

1. THE ADVENTUROUS

These are the types of people that will do crazy things with you on a whim. You don’t need to convince them. If you’re game, they’re game. Having spontaneous people around reminds you that life is short and you need to take the time to enjoy as much of what it has to offer.

2. THE DREAMER

Dreamers are the ones who have big plans for themselves. Others may call them ambitious or delirious, depending on where they’re coming from but regardless, these people are the ones who know the value of setting big goals and going after them. Surrounding yourself with people like these will help you achieve and do greater things in life. They add meaning and purpose to your existence.

3. THE PASSIONATE

Passionate people are the ones who, even if things don’t go their way, they press on toward their goal, not giving up but immersing themselves fully and giving more than a hundred percent in all they do. Their passion for life and things will also rub off on you, causing you to become more passionate about what you’re involved in. They stay dedicated and committed because of their strong conviction to see things to the end.

4. THE COACH

A coach/mentor, can be someone who you look up to that is successful in some areas in life. It’s always good to have someone who can show you the ropes and lead you into making the right decisions in life. Coaches help provide wisdom for you not just because of Their success but also because of their experiences and the accompanying lessons they learned.

5. THE POSITIVE

People who are optimistic about life can sometimes be annoying, but that is their strength. They know how to look at things from different perspectives and are not easily discouraged when things go wrong. You can learn a thing or two from people like them. They deal with stress better and don’t seem to be easily bogged down no matter how difficult things get.

6. THE GRATEFUL

We all want big things, grand things. That’s why we work hard to achieve the best things in life. However, sometimes, because we have our eyes fixed on the big fish, we tend to forget the little blessings we have. Grateful people take the time to stop and smell the flowers. They know how to enjoy life by continually looking for things to be thankful for. They know what it’s like to have plenty and know what it’s like to be in need and it gives them a healthy perspective about possessions and achievements.

I believe having these types of people in your life can make you a better person. Having the wrong people in your life may influence you to do bad and can change your life for the worse.

  1. I absolutely love this. I feel like most people have a hard time identifying healthy traits within a person in it, especially after experiencing so many toxic one. This specific blog entry made me reevaluate a lot of the people that I keep in my life. I personally feel like I identify more as the coach Brian when I am around any type of human being. But I guess it alters depending on how comfortable I am with you.

  3. Hey, Darryl. Your new entries are looking pretty good. You present some interesting topics and ideas, and you have some good content development, as you are working to create significance for your audience to connect and relate to. Keep working on expanding some; don't be too brief. As you write your entries, don't forget about rhetoric, the lead in, and the sign off. Good visual appeal. Keep editing carefully.
